Sept 14th. 90 mins. 2nd session. At the supermarket exercise from L08 alongside one from lesson 14 with embedded questions too. Emphasis on intonation and "peanut butter" technique to teach pronounciation.
ResponderEliminarSept 26th. 90 mins. 3rd session. Did the pdf files about family from lesson 7. Also practice with "get along". Vocabulary not so new for him, but possesives is something a bit difficult for him.

ResponderEliminarSep 30th. 5th session. 90 mins. Practice about bank accounts from podcast from L05. Talked about the audio about curfew from lesson 03. The girl in that audio said "give up" so we had some practice about it. He remembers his podcasts because he keeps listening in his car. Next class we can start wih lesson 11 files.
ResponderEliminarOct 3rd. 6th session. 90 mins. From L10 we talked about physical descriptions. He will spend time with some of those podcasts fron L10. We also talked about cuba and the different types of people there.
ResponderEliminarOctober 7th. 8th session. 90 minutes. He plans to cover 2nd payment next class. 1.415 pending. He was late because of a traffic problem. I waited for him doing other things and manage to spend an hour in class. Did the "types of work" audio from L10. Hard to understand, but with a little help he got in touch with jobs and how to describe them. Next class some reinforcement can be a good idea.

We did the extra activity "Describing people's personalities" and he had a quite ok performance, he was able to understand and reproduce the lines he heard, and he was taught to search on the net the words' English/English meanings...He had to listen to the exercise over and complete it on the booklet as a homework...He didn't pay 'cause he had no money, he forgot about it...And the class was given from 8:30 to 10 because I arrived late.
