Oct 5th. 75mins. L10 Pr2&3. We had those ones and he had a lot of practice using the proper vocabulary to describe people and talk about where they live. He was told to check out the audios in advance for tomorrow's class.
Oct 6th. 75 mins. L10 Free practice. The guy satrted talking about his activities and his experiences in life. He was able to communicate, nevertheless with many mistakes. We liked the dynamic but we consider (Daniel & I)he should learn structures and develop his language skills first instead of speaking about everything and nothing.
Oct 7th. 75 mins. L10 Pr 4&on. We did the practice 4 having the student to create a communicative dialogue with the teacher. He was made to listen a couple of audios about the vocaboulary words "curly" & "mustache" but he wasn't able to reproduce even a word, so he was told to listen to the audios in advance and with more enthusiasm 'cause he needs it bad.
Aug 17th. 60 minutes. Finished the beer audio, saw some pictres from L1 to talk more about orderng food. The swing by practice from the audio from "eating fast food".
Aug 22th. 60 mins. L7 intro and L7r1. He was tired and finds it difficult not to translate. The lesson was like something brand ew for him. Next class possibly the L3 exrrcee with do does.
Aug 29th. 60 mins. Spent time with the short answer exercise from L03. Tried answering yes no questions with a few pictures in hand. Did the I'm all ears from L7. He gets distracted with the e-mail at times and sometimes like today he seems very tired and sleepy.
Gustavo aug 31st. 60 mins. L7 family with the esame st video. Also the Im all ears, which was a little complicated for him although he had the pictures as a guidance.
Sept. 6th. 75 mins. Check received. L07 summary using "who needs" and "who has a ". Good idea to review nouns from this lesson. Making progresss, talked about his visa and dealing with the embassy. L08 intro and pr1.
Sept 20th. 90 mins. L09 intro, Pr1 and Pr2. Starts any given class having too much trouble talking, but after 15 20 mins he improves a lot. Learning new free time activities using the pictures.
Sept 30th. 75 mins. Previous class we did the yes/no questions too, and finished that today. The listening exercise about the football players. L9 summary, having practice with such vocabulary. Also talked about hs visit to the consul from the embassy.
Oct 12th. 75mins. L10 Pr2&3. We did the Far beyond practice (Seville City), reading and discussing about what he understood...we did some review about structure because he's not able to speak structuring properly, so he was remembering about that...he did it much better. He insists in having other kind of learning, he was told to wait and expect much better things as soon as he improves.
Oct 11th. 75 mins. The exercise with the T sound. Did quite well, repeating with a sense of understanding. He insisted on having things work related, so I'll work on it.
