Group Class Perisur Intermediate.

We got started with Ma del Carmen only. Carmen's session #1. Talked about apartments, and she needs to listen to the audio about sharing an apartment and the video about buying a house. Other options: the one about doppelgangers and any others she'd like.

    Thur. June 2nd. 90 min. Worked on the Im all ears activity on page 4 (sharing an apartment) also on practice 3 and 4, the cutureme and phonetics, she did really good but she was a little like ashamed of speaking. I also noticed her pronunciation is not too good so in order to make her talk and pronounce we worked on the repetition of irregular verbs part 1 and 2 and she did better. Finally I asked her why she wanted to take classes and we agreed on work a lor on her pronunciation and confidence. Nice class.

    Thur. June 9th. 90 min. Worked on the How to sell your house video on page seven and answer the questions, also on practice 5 and the exercises on page 10 and 11 as well as prepositions in on and at. She did better on pronunciation and finished the class talking about houses, family and work. She did good. Nice class. We agreed on meeting earlier at 6.

    Thur. June 16th. 90 min. Did a quick review on the how to sell your house video in order to answer some questions she had about it. Also worked on the blockbuster tv add and answered the questions, she struggled a little at the beginning but at the end she did really good. Answered the exercises on page 12 and 13 and finished the class with the lesson summary and talking about the audio high school jobs. She es improving her speaking levels. She mentioned this will be the last class for her she plans to countinue until August.
