Spent time practicing with sounds (dj, d, t, flapped t). Saw a few pictures so she could practice those in past. We can still spend some more time describing clothes and the like.
Fri Apr 15th. 90 minutes. In coyoacan. I arrived on time, but started the class about 20 minutes later. Some time with the t-sound audio. Also talking about mardi grass, easter and vocabulary related to holy week.
Mon April 25th. 90 minutes. in Sta Fe. Used the charts from this statistics site and particularly swa the statistics about income per capita. Interested in Brazil's stats, we talked about how they're doing lately. Dor that reason, we also saw the "japanese stereotypes audio" from ETJ Show and planned on taking a look at the report from HBR about Singapore Airlines. SHe has flown Thai by the way

Mon May 23rd. 90 minutes. in Sta Fe. Starte late again, so I left late. Did the exercise about the long tail and for some reason talked about the many things to be done to fill the gap between rich and poor. Also about the way paper is becoming extint and ways to cope with it.

Mon june 13th. 90 minutes. In sta fe. 1st class new session, but no payment yet.gave to her article about france, and talked a bit about it. Said to me she neeeds help with resume, saw the video from rick steves about rails to practice verbs in past.
June 17th. 90 minutes. 2nd class new session. Paid 2.4. Helped her with her resume. She's supposed to start getting funds from her office to pay for classes and have them more often. She will be paid for 6 sessions per month.
June 27th. 90 minutes. 3rd class new session. In Sta Fe. The european business customs exercise, not complete, but it was a good topic for conversation.
July 7th. more notes: Did the nokia letter, which she found very interesting becauee she decided not to work for them since she foresaw poblems with their midterm goals. This means we could do the howard shultz letter next time on the phone.
Vero july 11th. 90 minutes. At the starbucks in Sta Fe. The summer camp video which came out handy because she did summer activities when she was a child. Also the math to determine if it was a profitable business. Also some time talking about her summer jobs, but didn't go thru the audio. The reading exercise about the young manager left for the next phone call session.
iuly 18th. 90 minutes. Since she's having a meeting with these people from the t-fal division, we saw material related to cooking. The avocado, pumpernickel, makimg dough, chopping and a part of the ratatuille video.
Aug 10th. 90 minutes. Started 6:30 or so. Talked wbout her hring process and the economy and society today (great prospects, no opportunities). Also did the reading exercise about food poisoning so she told me about her experience with that in NY. She liked the exercise, it was good for her needs right now.
Aug 18th. 90 mins. An exercise about things you say at the supermarket. Too simple for her, but she also explained to me her budget figures and details about her position opened in Atlanta. Also some vocabulary exrrcises with "l", "nt", and "th"
Sept 20th. 90 mins About jobs we're good at and jobs we like (there's a slide showing such thing). Also helping her out with a mail ragarding features she looks for her apartment in Ga. Finally doing the open house audio.
Sept 26th. 90 minutes. Talked about the things she thinks are necessary to master a new language. Also but briefly, the fabric patterns listening exercise.
Oct 11th. 90 mins. Lunch and chat about things at work from Calphalon, her new job. Product design, campaigns and things like that. No extra material because I had no battery and she unexpectedly took the class in the cafe. Next class about Jobs speech and cars.
Oct 14. 90 mins. In Coyoacan. Working on her calphalon manual which meant using material about cooking. We saw the cooking 101 from Pixar which was meaningful for what we were doing.
