Tuesday Apr 20th. Saw L23 page 26. She'd listened to it, so she talked about her life. Communicative and interesting to follow.

  1. Thu Apr 29th. Saw L24 and practice 1. We talked about carpool and its benefits. Lesson 23 and practice 1,2,3 and 4 are still missing. She's having little trouble understanding and talking. OK to continue with L24 pr2 and on.

  2. Mon May 3rd. L24 pr 2. A bit difficult for her, also started with life in Tokio exercise from L24 too. She still needs to read it so you can talk about it next class. Or next class she can also work on L23 dialogue and practice 1.

  19. Mon Aug 2nd. Last class with Jessi, she decided to start taking classes in an academy near her house. Listened to the colors exercise from L14 and talked a bit about it. Primarily we talked about why she quit. It was getting more difficult for her to be in class (she's busier), but in my opinion, she never found time to take a listen once in a while before each class. And she always had trouble finding the material I gave to her. This time for intance, whe couldn't find the exercise on the CD, which was like the 5th time that came up as an excuse not to work on the material. Itunes was just installed in her computer 2 weeks ago!! (my fault). She improved here listening skills, she learned to talk more, but she still has trouble with structure, particularly because she didn't have further practice. Extra work then is essential.
